Yeah, right

Some ScienceBlogger tries to list the reasons there is no male birth control, but I have my suspicions that there is all too much truth in his first, joking, answer:
It's because medical researchers are all sexist bastards. Didn't you know?
Speaking of annoyance at men in general, there is a new study showing that women are far likelier to be published in scientific journals if the person choosing the article doesn't know they are female. I think you can all guess how I feel about this one.

The NYT is claiming that the Laffer curve (essentially the supply side theory support for the idea that cutting taxes stimulates the economy and actually increases revenue) is dead as a viable economic theory. I'll believe it when people aren't trying to teach ID in school.
