Well, ok, really my second crush and a far less enduring one then the first, but both of them restore my geek credentials. Wil Wheaton, who I was madly in love with when I was about 10 has done a geek's guide to LA for gridskipper and I am passing it on for those of you who are out there.
Also, if you haven't checked out his blog or Suicide Girls column you really should. He is currently discussing a Slashdot poll of which is the best Star Trek. TNG is winning by a truly astounding margin.
Do you wonder who my first and most enduring crush was or have you already figured out that it was the even more geeky, and far too revelatory of my relationship history, Spock? Is it any wonder even guy I've dated since I left high school has been a computer scientist? I was the girl who, in second grade, watched TOS cartoons and told my little sister she had to take Kirk when we played make believe.
Is there any hope for me?
