I finally sat down and watched this today and I am a little confused about all the bluster. I thought Cobert's actually stand-up was funny and even well done, not exactly a surprise to anyone, but entertaining and timely. However, the little video he produced was one of the stupider and more annoying things I've seen in a while.
In short, I am confused about how to respond to it and utterly mystified as to why exactly Cobert wimped out by ending with the video.
I agree that the weird "audition video" was at best a big Washington inside joke. I think the issue is that when Don Imus burned Clinton during a correspondence dinner there was a huge media outrage, and this time the media was silent. When they got around the talking about it they called it a bombed performance. Strange.
Listen hear you bunch of dirty hippies: WE ARE AT WAR!!! Do you WANT to get beat by terrists?! Maybe you don't like freedom? Maybe your not even Christains? Youll probobly laugh at me, but I just found this blog and wanted to tell you that ALL OF YOU are liberal crybaby LOSERS!
