Tacky is as tacky does.

There is one man on the internet who seems to have devoted himself to the charting of tacky art throughout that bastion of consumerism and family values called the American home in the mid-twentieth century.

I have to admit my personal favorites are probably this spread on Jello's part in the decline of civilization and a serious of pictures quaintly titled Interior Desecrations, but there is far more to see. The interesting stuff seems to be mostly charted between the Gallery of Regrettable Food and the Institute of Official Cheer.

You guys really need to create a comment SPAM archive. That shit is hysterical. I mean obviously tacky americana and private road construction should be discussed together. I think the comment SPAM is the only reason I read this.
