Are they behind the milk?

Scott Ritter has come out with another book about the missing Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq.

I'd like to say that this government just plain sucks. They lie so much that whenever some credible source has the courage to come forward they have to create some unsubstantiated rumor that the media is happy to spread without question so as to discredit or distract the public from the facts.

I don't want to seem like a conspiracy nut, but there is some sort of conspiracy going on here!

One more thing: Depleted Uranium. If we are in Iraq for the good of the Iraqis then why are well destroying their environment?

Because we don't care about them. We care about oil and manufacturing consent.

This is all disjointed but I wanted to get a few things out there.

Are you saying that because there are worse things that we could do to them, that this is okay?

Or are you saying because lead and prosac, etc, are the things that we dump onto our own environment, that they should feel lucky?

Or are you just being ironic?

Fair enough. However, there are documented cases of increases in birth defects since the 90's in Iraq. Of course, there is also a history of Saddam using chemical weapons (purchased from the US) within his own borders.

I've read the official reports on the affects of DU. Although safe under normal circumstances I would argue that prolonged fighting within a single zone could released toxic quantities into the ground water. DU has only been used ballistically for a little over a decade. I believe the Gulf War 1 was its first combat usage. And there we are again, indefinitely.
