I'm not sure the "shift to sports" is a qualitative improvement.
I can say that because I don't live withing driving distance of Jason.
I just tell the girls that I'm Harry Potter. In real life I'm just a squib. Maybe that has something to do with why my interests lose interest after a month or so.
And speaking of sports, I heard someone say (back me up here, Rachel), that JKR was happy to never have to write another Quiditch scene ever again. So. There. I guess. I don't really have a point. But at least I'm not the only one who has no interest in sports, even of the magical variety.
However, I do fancy a spot of Table Tennis on occasion.
