This is Blobwall:













It is a modular structure made completely out of lightweight plastic "blobs" that interlock in a myriad of ways.

The room pictured next is completely composed of a modular system. It even has a loft, the pieces are assembled on site and the entire thing just won recognition in I. D.'s 2008 Design Review issue. Hat tip: Dwell
