Google-love

The idea that You-Tube is changing politics because it actually catches things politicians say on video where anyone can see it (Hello, George Allen; or, rather, goodbye and good riddance.) has been a common one during this election and the Google Blog just revealed that it is going to get much worse.

Google is launching the Google Elections Video Search gadget, which uses speech recognition to make transcriptions of political videos so that they are completely searchable. This is awesome.
