Fun in Philly

Philadelphia is being sued by tour guides who are upset because the city wants them to pass a test and be licensed to operate. Tapped has the story and Reason is freaking out because of the speech infringement, but by far the most interesting story is what tour guides are accused of saying.

Mayor Michael Nutter signed the law in April amid concerns that some guides were perpetuating gross inaccuracies, including false claims that Benjamin Franklin had 69 illegitimate children and that three-time widow Betsy Ross killed her husbands.
Maybe people could just chose whether they wanted the historically correct tour or the fun tour. The second choice should definitely serve drinks. I'm guessing some hipster could make a mint with that.
