One of the neat features of the Google Reader is the way it starts recommending blogs based on what it sees as your interests. This has lead me to a new blog with a recent post recommending a book that I hope will be translated into English, though I doubt it. It is by an Indian author in Urdu and focuses on the historical prevalence of women as Muslim scholars. History, smart women, and religious criticism; what could be better?
