If one needed any confirmation that the drug war is doing incalculable harm (especially after Atlanta's fiasco), this story from Tallahassee about a co-ed who was caught with marijuana and a few pills of ecstasy (not that I am pro these things or do them, but on the scale of drug caches this doesn't exactly signify). She was sent out to entrap a man who had already spent 9 months in jail on battery charges and ended up dead; according to the Tallahassee police department that's what you get and they clearly had no responsibility. There are words for people like that, words that I actually have quite a bit of affection for, but which I probably shouldn't use on a blog that my parents read.
