I'm late, I'm late...

It is shocking, I know, but the Hugo award nominees were announced around a week ago and I haven't even seen them until today. It turns out that one of my favorite blogging authors was nominated for his book The Last Colony, along with The Yiddish Policeman's Union, which I have been dying to read. In recognition I am posting the link to Scalzi's blog and bemoaning the fact that I have been reading so little fiction lately that I haven't read a single one of the Hugo award nominees.

Speaking of book prizes, this take on judging for the Booker is classic.
