It's official.
According to the University of Minnesota and Kevin Drum cats are the bomb-diggity. A new study seems to show that people who don't own cats (including dog owners) are 30%-40% more likely to die of cardiovascular disease than people who do. The universe loves cat owners is my official theory, but one of Drum's commenter's would like us to consider the possibility that cat owners die less of cardiovascular disease because we are all getting our souls sucked out by our cats.
I continued to be amazed at the abject lack of civil discourse on comment threads. :)'
