This month's major topic at The Cato Institute appears to be the dramatic lengthening of the human life span that has occurred and seems like it may continue to occur at an even greater rate.

There are four related essays; you won't have much trouble guessing which ones I am sympathetic to. My long fascination with and appreciation of the ways in which science conspires to stretch the limits of humanity is well known, as is my general optimism about the soul of humanity, but all of the articles are worth reading.
