Catch Up

It has been a rough week and I haven't been writing here, sorry. MuggleMarc was here visiting, which was marvelous, but also made me realize how lonely my life here has been. He also made fun of me for not having seen the flexible screen months ago. Apparently, my nerd credentials are now seriously in doubt, but I still maintain those developments are fascinating.

I have a lot of interesting ephemera to post, I've been saving them for when I actually felt up to posting, but I re-read the entire Prydain Chronicles, which I haven't read since I was ten, and I went and saw the Hold Steady last night. The show was good, but I enjoyed the opening band, Art Brut, even more than the Hold Steady. I am going to have to look them up now; I almost bought a T-shirt. They were very English major-y.

So sometime soon there will be a bunch of little posts and I am still planning to put up some pictures with commentary from Singapore, though it is beginning to look like my Dad may be going there on a regular basis for the foreseeable future.
