So I am blogging from the Hong Kong airport and we are just about to board our plane to Singapore. I don't have a ton of time but I wanted to let everybody know that I am down safe. I don't have any pictures uploaded yet. I stupidly left the cord that connects my camera to my computer in my check on luggage thinking there was no way I would need it before I got to Singapore. I was wrong.
Especially since my mom gave me a sleeping pill for the 16 hour part of our three leg journey and it had some strange effects. I took it and fell asleep just as we were about to go over Hudson Bay (we went north from Chicago) and I woke up just as the sun was setting and we were passing over the coast of Greenland. There was a full moon that you could see out the window and I, half dreaming, and definately hearing voices (I think this was the closest to tripping I have ever been in my life) spent over an hour according to my phone timer trying to take pictures of the moon and Greenland. I only have the vaguest memories of this. Strange flight, huh. I'm not sure I will be taking sleeping pills again.
Anyway, the flight is boarding, so I need to go, but I love everybody and I will post pictures as soon as I can, even if they are ones that I took completely delirious.
