Studies that don't give links to their paper.

So the Candadian Centre for Addiction and Mental Health has released a study drawn from a wide range of epidemiological surveys that claims to clarify a link between drinking and cancers of the mouth and esophagus and it is causing something of a hubbub. I just don't understand why they seem to publish nothing on their cite except for some vague statistics. If this is true it is very scary, but they say nothing about how amount of drinking or anything else effected the study. I hate it when people do this. Hopefully, there will be follow-up that is either more obviously rigorous or that is not funded by a government organization dedicated to the idea that drugs are bad.

It so annoys me when people refuse to quote numbers.
