Yup, it's that time of the century. It seems only appropriate that on a day so fraught with sinister significance that we re-examine our cultural standard bearer for demonology, witchcraft, and the dubious morality of dating your best friend's sister. In that vein, take a listen to this alternate soundtrack to the first Harry Potter movie called Wizard People, Dear Reader. The soundtrack is meant to be played along with a muted version of the movie, although I've found just listening to be quite funny. Gee, next year anyone with the yips will be proclaiming that July 7th, 2007 will be the day that Jesus comes back to earth.
On an unrelated note, on August 8, 2008, there will be a mass gathering of card players, bent on spreading the game "Crazy Eights".
