Well, it looks like the future's gonna be boring (aliens, if you're listening, now would be a good time to show up). You've all heard the oft-made claims concerning the impending doom of, respectively, reading, movies, music, and television - but it's beginning to look like their usurpers may be in for tough times as well. I find it interesting that the same website that is prophesying the demise of video game systems, in part because they are not providing enough novelty, but mostly because as people get older they just don't have time for them is also crying out in the wilderness about how we will all live in MMORPG instead of the real world soon.
Is it just me that sees a little bit of a conflict there? I can pretty much guarantee you that most people who turn thirty and get kids and don't have time to play PlayStation are really not going to have time to form an entire extra life on WOW.
