Apparently a couple has been arrested in India for kissing at their wedding ceremony. Of course they were fined about $20, but still, the world is strange. The funniest part is that I found it on The Corner at NRO where it was linked to with the title "One Man's obsenity is another man's wedding kiss." It seems intrestingly open minded for the NRO.

$20 may not seem like much to you, but in Indian, its two months' salary. You just can't buy that kind of love.
It's true, in fact $1 per day seemed not at all uncommon in professions like taxi driving.

Just wanted to point out the illicit smoochers weren't Indian, but Israeli. Also, It was apparently a bunch of Israeli women that "danced naked near Pushkar" last year. I think the real question here is, what's going on with the Israelies?
