Here is a list of the 10 most fuel efficient cars, there's a little fudging for ties and I have heard that the actually gas mileage for the TDI's is normally measured as lower than it actually is because of something to do with the way EPA regulations work, but it is positively depressing how American car manufacturers have falling down on the job. I was also surprised at how high some of the mileages on the top 10 list were. At the last place on the list are cars with 29 mpg city.
